The Northern Ireland Healthcare Leadership Forum is a student society based at the Queen's University of Belfast. Our founding principle is to inspire health and social care students to take interest in the leadership of our National Health Service.
We provide free-of-charge events to students and qualified healthcare practitioners to explore current topics and service delivery challenges that affect day to day running of the National Health Service in Northern Ireland.
We believe effective leadership and management skills are important to the future health and social care student. Now in the early stages of our careers, students have the opportunity to learn more about their future work environment by becoming a member of the forum.
Working with healthcare leaders from across Northern Ireland, we aim to provide you our audience with knowledge, tools and insights into issues affecting modern healthcare systems. We also host a National Experience Network (NEN), providing CV-enhancing experiences to healthcare students in the form of service and quality improvement projects, internships, work-shadowing and leadership courses (subject to availability).
This website is continually updated to keep you informed of our up-coming events, recent news and educational tools. We hope that you find it useful and look forward to welcoming you to an event.
